She was predeceased by: her husband John Guttman; and her parents, Harry Miltenberger and Mabel Miltenberger (Biery). She is survived by: her children, Michael (Kelly) and Kathleen Gwynn (James); and her sister Emma Weber. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to the American Heart Association in loving memory of Shirley.
