He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley V. (Muth); his parents, Harold Schweitzer and Dorothy Schweitzer (Snyder); his daughter Roxane Schneck; and his siblings, Leonard and Pearl.

He is survived by: his daughter Veronica P. Schweitzer (Bradley Fogel) of Emmaus; his grandchildren, Samantha, Garrett and Gabriel; and his great grandchildren, Cora and Emma.
