He was predeceased by: his wife Rose (Kochenash); and his parents, Joseph Hertzog and Mary Hertzog (Joon). He is survived by: his children, Bonnie Breslin, Barbara Weigard (Gregory) and Thomas (Susan); and his grandchildren, Aaron and Jenna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Lehigh Valley Hospice or the Wounded Warrior Project in John's memory.
