She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. Shafnisky and Katie E. Shafnisky (Novak); and her siblings, William J., Richard, Alfred, Thomas, David and Dorothy R. Karpyn.
She is survived by: her sister Martha Shafnisky of Whitehall, PA.; and her former husband Ronald Brobst (James McCann). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schisler Funeral Home (2119 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
