It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry L. Stopay Sr. of Northampton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 22, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Metro Stopay and Gloria Stopay (Lerch). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Stopay (Moyer); his children, Barry L. Stopay, Jr. (Nicole) of Walnutport, Scott M. Stopay (Jill) of New Tripoli and Amy D. Gannon (Christopher) of Catasauqua; his sister Brenda J. Stopay of Northampton; his grandchildren, Zach (Jenna), Jacob, Aiden, Taylor, Luke, Paige, Quinn and Norah; and his great grandchild Vida.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schisler Funeral Home (2119 Washington Ave, Northampton, PA 18067). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial Contributions may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, care of the funeral home.
