He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar R. Peterson and Mary E. Weaver Peterson; and his siblings, Edward Peterson, Gerald Peterson and Shirley Peterson Fraser.
He is survived by: his wife Florence T. Sorg Peterson; and his children, Thomas G. Peterson (Frances) of Brentwood, CA, James R. Peterson (Virginia) of Concord, CA and Mary E. Johnson (Gary) of Clarendon, PA. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph R. C. Church (600 Pennsylvania Ave W, Warren, PA 16365). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
