He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward J. McLaughlin Sr. and Catherine McLaughlin (Gildea); and his siblings, Francis McLaughlin and Martin McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth McLaughlin (Sosna); his children, Christina M. McLaughlin and Edward J. McLaughlin III of Los Angeles, CA; and his siblings, MaryAnn Costar (Larry), Catherine Knowles (Bob), Roseann Myers, Dee McLaughlin, Joseph McLaughlin, William McLaughlin (Mary Beth), Margaret Arcaro (Dave) and Helen Welsh (Patrick). He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
