He was predeceased by: his parents, John P. Welsh and Anna Mae Welsh (Anawalt); his son Nicholas Welsh; and his brothers, John "Jackie" Welsh and William "Boz" Welsh.
He is survived by: his sister Jodi Glova (Nick); and his grandson Nikolai Welsh.
