He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Goldberg and Eva Goldberg; his wife Judith Smith Goldberg; his brothers, Leonard M. and Joseph J. Goldberg; and his siblings-in-law, William J. Smith and Janet Adams.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jeanne Lenhart of Delmont. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
