He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Scott and Beatrice Scott (Hilf); his wives, Betty Scott (Burger) and Irene Scott (McCutcheon); and his stepchildren, Joseph, David and Pamela McCutcheon.
He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Jr. Scott (Maura), Michael Scott and Russell Scott (Dawn); his stepchildren, Cynthia "Cindy" Stanbery (Steve), Kenneth "Fritz" McCutcheon and Donald McCutcheon; his grandchildren, Chelsea Challingsworth (Joshua), Ahsley Luffey (Ryan), Richard Scott (Kristy) and Justin Scott; and his siblings, Michael Scott (Marcie), Kathleen Lesoon (Edward) and Joseph Scott (Beverly). He is also survived by many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.
