With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona Evans (North Versailles, Pennsylvania), born in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2018 at the age of 69. She was predeceased by: her parent John Slater. She is survived by: her parent Mildred Smith Slater; her husband William Evans; her children, John George (Kathy) of Braddock Hills, Melissa Bachman of Duquesne and Joseph George (Crystal) of West Mifflin; and her granddaughter Britney Bowen (Stephen) of New Cumberland, W. V.. She is also survived by numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many family and friends.
