He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Ryan and Mildred Ryan (Monath); his wife Thelma Fay Ryan (Van Kirk); and his sisters, Dorothy Schaffer and Joanne Tellman.
He is survived by: his son David W. Ryan (Alison) of Liberty Boro; his sister Barbara DiFabio (Paul) of Boston; his stepchildren, Denise Mascaro and Robert Jones; and his granddaughter Kaitlyn Jones of McKinney.
