He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bain Tubbs, Sr. and Edith Claudine Tubbs. He is survived by: his wife Ann Tubbs; his daughters, Melissa Moore (Jason) and Yvonne Tubbs; his grandchildren, Alexis Tubbs and Malik Ridgely; and his sister Yvonne Jazwinski (Gene). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Sunshine Kitchen at Christ Lutheran Church.
