Irene left this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 66, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ackerman and Jean Ackerman (Magee); her husband Domingo Alvarez; and her siblings, Carol Ackerman, Merry Gibson, Linda Penn, Harry Ackerman, Perry Ackerman and Lisa Ackerman-Wimbs.
She is survived by: her children, Christopher Alvarez (Samantha), Jodi Anderson and David Anderson (Carrie); her grandchildren, David Anderson, Anthony Anderson, Eryk Schofield, Halle Geyer, Ciarra Anderson, Stephanie Yuhas and Camilla Alvarez; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Green, Anthony Anderson Jr., Kailer Tukes, Aleesia Taylor and Ariella Taylor; and her siblings, Patricia Maldonado, Kathy McNelis, Roberta Rodman, Carl, Allen, Bruce and Glenn Ackerman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Willig Funeral Home & Crematory (220 9th St, McKeesport, PA 15132). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM.
