He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F., Sr. and Anna Mae O'Brien Valenta. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betty Ann" Gubanic Valenta; his children, Noreen Cortazzo (Frank) of Port Vue, PA and Edward F. Valenta, III (Alexis) of Plum, PA; his grandson Frank Cortazzo; his children, Nick Cortazzo (Jaclyn) and Cash Cortazzo (Jenna); his great grandchild Frank; his grandchildren, Angelina, Nico, Luca, Rocco and Matteo Cortazzo; his brother-in-law Robert "Bobby" Gubanic; his niece Meri Beth Furlong (Larry); his great-niece Savannah Furlong; and his great-nephew Liam Furlong.
