She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence C. Porter and Marguerite Keenist Porter; her husband Herman "Jack" Barfield; her siblings, Nelson Porter, Kenneth Porter and Pearl Adam; and her nieces and nephews, Beverly, Augie and Kenneth.
She is survived by: her son Jack Barfield of Versailles Borough; her brother Eugene Porter (Judy) of Elizabeth; and her nieces and nephews, Leslie, Melanie, John, Harry, Caroline, Michael, Michelle, Bonnie and May.
