Leona M. Puz Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona M. Puz of North Sewickley, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Leona departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Leona may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Leona leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Franus and Michalean Franus (Olzak). She is survived by: her sons, Mark Puz of Richmond, VA and Michael Puz; and her nieces, Cheryl Giorgi (Tony), Linda Porter, Karla Paltor and Marsha Lloyd.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Puz's name may be made to the Ellwood City Area Public Library or the Holy Redeemer Angel Fund.
