He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard J. Bentel and Elois Bentel (Hoover); his son Richie E. Bentel; and his brother-in-law Bill Hickman. He is survived by: his girlfriend Janet Jarrett; his children, Jodi Lewis (Jody) of Wayne Twp and John Bentel; his grandchildren, Scott Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Braden Bentel, Shayla Fernandez (Kaden) and Chelsea Bentel; his great grandchildren, Olivia Fernandez and Noland Lewis; and his sister Karen Hickman of Beaver Falls.
Memorial contributions in Mr. Bentel's name may be made to the St. Judes Children's Research Hospital.
