He was predeceased by: his father Charles E. Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Shirilla Patterson; his children, Debbie Herko (Bob) and Gary Patterson, Jr. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Amber Hassen (Jason), Justin Herko (Kailey), Josh Herko, Jessica Patterson (Matt), Katie Patterson (Nick) and Melissa Patterson (Dylan); his great grandchildren, Alex, Emma Hassen and Jaxson Patterson; and his siblings, Shirley Schuster, Sandy Montgomery (Alvin) and Dawna Holsinger (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
