He is survived by: his wife Pamela McKinney Coates; his daughters, Jennifer Coates Miller (Lou) of Sarver, PA and Denise Coates of North Sewickley; his sister Valerie Kamrud of Beaver Falls; his grandchildren, Payton, Eleana Thumm, Abigail Brousseau, Hadley Nicol and Taylor Pavick; and his great grandchild DJ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
