He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Steck and Viola Steck (Jabout); his wife Judith A. Steck (Wieland); and his brothers, Edward and Richard Steck.
He is survived by: his children, Robert J. Steck Jr., Lisa Hibshman and Lori Armstrong (Rodney); his grandchildren, Rob Duncan (Cheyenne Deithorn), Alex Steck (Alyssa), Katelyn Burgman (Ian Elms) and Alexa Armstrong; his great grandchildren, Adalynn Steck, Asher Steck and Syora Duncan; his brother James Steck (Gayle); and his caregivers, Judy, Carmella of Heartland Hospice and Robert. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
