She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaz Matesic and Anna Evancic Matesic; and her husband Walter Chuckro. She is survived by: her daughters, Regina Mark (Forrest), Donna Miedlar (Michael), Catherine Borgony (David) and Mary Kay Ritz (Dennis). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (11400 St Agnes Ln, Irwin, PA 15642).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Mary's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation, St. Agnes Church, or a charity of your choice.
