He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Sobek and Anna M. Zayc Sobek; and his brothers, Richard D. and Bernard J. Sobek. He is survived by: his wife Michele A. Hawranko Sobek; his daughters, Kelley A. Wood and Jennifer S. Yavorsky; and his grandchildren, Colin, Cameron and Bela.
