He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howell and Blanche Howell; his siblings, Willy Howell, Bob Howell, Charles Howell and Lynne Moon; his father-in-law John McEwen; and his brother-in-law Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Howell (McEwen); his sisters, Cindy Talbot (John) and Blanche Stupar "Sis"; his mother-in-law Antoinette McEwen; his brother-in-law John McEwen (Lauren); his daughters, Lisa DiPano (Larry) and Lori Shigo (Jim); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Nesbit (Michael), Dylan Zgurich (Maddie) and Tyler Shigo; and also John. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
