We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to John Gombos Sr. of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gombos and Jennie Gyure Gombos; his brother Daniel; and his niece Elise. He is survived by: his wife Carol Pazehoski Gombos; his children, John Jr. (Sherry), Sharon Gombos and Susan Zurinsky (Jim); his brother Russell Gombos (Judy); his sister-in-law Rose Gombos; and his grandchildren, Justin (Joelissa), Derek and Claire.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A Mass was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Agnes Church (11400 St Agnes Ln, Irwin, PA 15642). A burial was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in John's name to the Dementia Society of America.
