We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2025, at the age of 91, Joan Gilbert of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Gilbert to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Martinsek and Mary Sawicz Martinsek; her husband James; her son Guy; and her sister Bertha Huff.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Trudy), Gregory (Denise) and Glenn Gilbert; her daughter-in-law Sharon Gilbert; her sister Patricia Peters; her grandchildren, Michael, Garrett (Nina), Richard (Alexandra), Zachary (Kylie), Lindsey (Jarod) and Grace; and her great grandchildren, Rylen, Benjamin, Jonah, Baker and Charleigh.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
