It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald L Malkos of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 31, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Malkos and Cecilia Malkos (Wrobleski); and his siblings, Lawrence "Butch" Malkos and Marlene Stoken. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Malkos (Tabor); his children, Dave Malkos (Angelina), Mary Jo Barker (Scott) and Dan Malkos (Kim); his grandchildren, Brittany Kornet (Steve), Josh Malkos (Allison), Samantha Cassell (Nick), Danielle Malkos, Cassie Smith (Jordan), Kayla Howell (Charlie), Chad Barker, Torri Malkos and Nathan Malkos; his great grandchildren, Riley, Avery Kornet and Nora Cassell; his sisters, Audrey Bodzenski (Rick) and Kathy Mehalik (Rick); and his siblings-in-law, Maureen Malkos and Raymond Stoken. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ott Funeral Home Inc. (805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, PA 15642). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Ott Funeral Home Chapel (805 Pennsylvania Ave, Irwin, PA 15642).
