Dean Schehr Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Schehr of North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schehr and Hannah Plues Schehr; and his siblings, Joseph Schehr, Frank Schehr, Isabelle Brocco and Viola Emili.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Schehr; his children, Cathy Vetal (Dan), Dee Dee Korch (Tom), Kim Fullwood (Charles), Donnie Schehr (Libby) and David Schehr (Sue); his grandchildren, Mark (Kaitlin), Julie (Jordan), Brian (Kristen), Carolyn (Joshua), Darren (Ashlyn), Jenna, Allison, Madison, Michael, Hannah, Kayla (Johnny) and Hayley; and his great grandchildren, Lucy and Madison. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, Inc. (176 Clay Pike, Irwin, PA 15642). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at the Irwin Union Cemetery (431 Bridge St, Irwin, PA 15642).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given in Dean's name to the Norwin Chamber of Commerce.
