She is survived by: her parents, Robert Cortese and Joyce Cortese (Novotny); her husband Dr. R. Patrick Marchand; her children, Dominic Smarra and Taylor Mikula (Zachary); her mother-in-law Ruth Ann Van Dyke (Tom); her sister Gina Egolf (Gary); her nephews, Jake and Anthony; and her niece Syndney.
