He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Powanda and Helen Powanda; and his wife Hazel I. Powanda (Airgood). He is survived by: his sons, Allen Powanda (Jeanne) of Irwin, Andrew "Chip" Powanda (Marsha) of Jacksonville, FL, Kevin Powanda (Maggie) of Irwin and Greg Powanda (Denise) of Irwin; his grandchildren, Nicholas Powanda (Chelsea), Drew Powanda (Megan) and Katelyn; his great grandchildren, Nikolai and Ryland Powanda; and his brother Michael Powanda of North Huntingdon.
