She was predeceased by: her parents, Lou Dougherty (Thomas Louis) and Vera Dougherty; her brother Dennis J Dougherty; her sister-in-law Ann Flanagan Dougherty; and her close friend Patricia Accettulli Deifel.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Aleva, Sr. (Robert James); her children, Karin Therese Aleva (Lou Moccia) and Rob Aleva Jr. (Sue); her grandchildren, Robert, Carissa (Ryan), Nathan, Nic, Abigail, Santino and Gianna; her great grandchildren, RJ and Eleanor; and her brothers, Tom Dougherty Jr. (Tom Louis) and Mike (Michael Anthony). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
