He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester P. "Lefty" Cole and Sara Elizabeth "Betty" Bell Cole. He is survived by: his wife Julie Burke Cole; his daughters, Kristine Cole (Jacob Lane) of North East and Rebecca Smith (Jeff) of Erie; his grandson Carter Smith; and his sister Barbara Damico (Gary) of Erie. He is also survived by niece and several cousins.
