We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2025, at the age of 71, Scott Thomas Rizzo (North East, Pennsylvania) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Scott shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Scott farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas J. Rizzo and Joan M. Rizzo (Edmunds); his siblings, Sheila K. Rizzo and Shawn J. Rizzo; and his nephew Devlin C. Rizzo.
He is survived by: his wife Sulistyarini Rizzo (Widjaja); his son Samuel T. Rizzo; his brother Stephen J. Rizzo (Marilyn); and his godmother Mary Triana.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Gregory Thaumaturgus Church (48 S Pearl St, North East, PA 16428). A burial was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at the St. Gregory Cemetery (9501 W Main St, North East, PA 16428).
