She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Adams and Florence Anico Adams; her husband Dwayne A. Wholaver Sr.; her daughter Dawn A. Wholaver of North East, PA; and her siblings, Thomas Adams, Tressie Boring and Betty J. Boring.

She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Croscutt (Michael) of Great Falls, MT and Dianna L. Kane of Phoenix, AZ; and her sister Florence Rainey (Harry) of Westover, PA.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in her name may be made to Crescent Hose Co., P.O. Box 89, North East, PA 16428.

“I am the forgotten, abandoned daughter of opportune, MARY Wholaver and Dwayne wholaver sr. I was actually disowned by my mother four years ago because she couldn’t be troubled with loving me or my family.. I grew up in this kind of torment so it made it easy to walk away and let them forget me. I pray and hope that both my parents finally found peace and heal from the torment that they bestowed up on each other and their children.”
