With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nadine I Conn of North East, Pennsylvania, born in Wood River, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Stutzman and Elma Stutzman (Schweitzer); her siblings, Derald Stutzman, Fern Eash and Fannie Griffiths; and her son-in-law Michael A. Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Neal Conn; her children, Bradley Conn (Erin), Kimberly Thompson Franks (Fred) and Sherri Bentley (Preston); her sister Jeannette Griffiths; her grandchildren, Trish Gibbons (Tracy), Brett Conn (Ryan), Brady Conn (Jordan), Brock Conn (Kaleigh), Matthew Thompson (Leslie), Eric Thompson (Deborah), Sara Hillhouse, Kendra and Bryce Bentley; her great grandchildren, Isiah Foor (Emma), Mason Weinheimer, Blake Hillhouse, Carter, Peyton, Kyle, Ryan Thompson and Elaina Conn; her caregivers, Maureen, Katie, Bri and Sandy; and her close friends, Gloria and Tammi. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Lawn Cemetery (17600 PA-89, Union City, PA 16438).
