He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Lemuel C. Alcorn and Ruth A. Alcorn (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Alcorn (Salen); his children, Debra D. Alcorn (Scott DeVore) and Michael E. Alcorn (Anne); his grandchildren, Michael (Katherine), Dylan (Emily), Noelle, Zane, Taeler, Ava, Stephen, Kirsten and Matthew; his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Harrison, Robin, Teigan, Rosalind and Hildegard; and his sister Carole Pulling. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
