She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Scott Van Giesen and Sophie Dorothy Karnat. She is survived by: her children, Rodney III, Marsha Gail and Lance Mitchell; and her brother Richard Van Giesen of Ripley. She is also survived by her three children and five grandsons.
