He is survived by: his wife Margaret Elder; his brother Donald Kertulis; his sisters-in-law, Patty, Barbara Ellen and Marlee; his children, Christine Slone (Scott), Theresa Kertulis (Ralph), Ronnette Kovacs (Frank), Joseph Kertulis Jr. (Kerri), Lisa Henry (Donald) and Michelle Duda; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Flack (Marygail Heinrich), Cody Rossman (Jordan), Jade Johnson (Ben), Danielle Bisbee, Jordan Rossman (Kira Turner), Nicolette Slone, Alexis Gardner (Christian), Adam Kovacs (Jenna) and Megan Matson (Steve); and his caregiver Nick. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
