He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo G. Mays and Clara Mays Jensen (Gealy); his wife Shirley Mays (Reynolds); his children, Bruce Guy "Rooster" Mays, Pamela Sue Mays and Kimberlee Mays; his sister Donna Harmon; and his pet Toby.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Kohler (Chris) of Warren and Nancy Mulson (Chuck) of North East; his sister Gloria Mitchell of Titusville; and his grandchildren, Charlie, Melissa, Jason, Matt, Jesse, Sabra, Victoria, Alyssa, Julie and Jennifer. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and his friends.
