He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord Johnson and Dorotha Johnson (Wilkinson); his sister Linda Palmer; and his great grandchild Madeline Mae Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Johnson (Skellie); his siblings, Richard Johnson and Diana Seman; his children, Leisa Hunzeker (Bill) and Mark Johnson (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Ashley Bengele (Greg), Devin Parker (Andrew), Brian Hunzeker (Mary), Brady Hunzeker (Alexys), Chelsea Mayer (Shawn), Dustin Johnson (Deanna), Jackie Volzke (Ethan) and Kelly Johnson. He is also survived by 18 Great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
