In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Dave leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Dave may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his father Jack Carey. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Carey; his sons, Stephen and Justin; his granddaughter Braelynn; and his siblings, Dennis (Tina), Doug and Christine. He is also survived by his in-laws, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home (65 S Lake St, North East, PA 16428). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenfield Baptist Cemetery (9028 Williams Rd, North East, PA 16428).
