He is survived by: his wife Christine Cardinale of North Charleroi; his sons, Luke Kovalchuk (Katie) of Belle Vernon, Calvin Kovalchuk of Charleroi, Brady Kovalchuk (Rachele) of Rostraver Twp and Joey Papadakos of North Charleroi; his grandchildren, Novella, Gavin and Calin; his siblings, Richard Kovalchuk (Cindy) of Texas and Lorraine Veltri (Matt) of Valencia, PA; and his sisters-in-law, Adele Pireaux (Richard) of Fallowfield Twp and Patty Baker (Norm) of Fallowfield Twp. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends.
