He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Pelzer and Zella Pelzer (McGrady); and his siblings, Albert, Victor, Charles, Robert, Marlene and Janet.
He is survived by: his close friend Linda Hopton; his daughters, Jodi Sealy (Tracy) of Texas, Eugenia Kirk (Robert) of Texas and Rebecca Black (Bryan) of Texas; and his grandchildren, Kory, Megan, Zoe, Jenna, Jacob and Gavin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
