She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross McIlwain and Hester McIlwain (Turner); her former husband Albert G. Stewart; her husband Merle E. Bier; her stepmother Helen McIlwain; her daughter Sheila Orlowski; and her siblings, Art Rupert and Doris Altmire.
She is survived by: her sons, David Stewart (Jill) of Phoenix, AZ, Douglas Stewart (Jacqueline) of Strattanville, PA and Jeffrey Stewart (Lisa) of Dawsonville, GA; her stepsons, Gary Bier of Kiski Township and Randy Bier (Debbie) of Shelocta; her son-in-law David Orlowski of North Apollo; and her siblings, Donald McIlwain of Greensburg, Tom Rupert (Dolores) of Spring Church and Ruth Pastula (Rich) of Cranberry Township. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
