He is survived by: his wife Barbara Held Strait of North Apollo; his children, Candice Frederick (Asa) of Dupont and Jason McMunn (Camalia) of Forth Lupton; and his siblings, Ed Strait (Pete) of Leechburg, Mike Strait of Erie, Glenn Strait (Cindy) of Tioga, Allen Strait of Somerset, Steven Strait of Tidioute, Terry Strait of Cumberland, Jim Strait (Rowena) of Johnstown, Charles Strait of North Carolina and Sherry Lockhart of Leechburg. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
