She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaetano Scarafone and Caroline Scarafone (Mazzone); her husband John J. Zaro; her siblings, Mary Rio, Frank Scarafone, Lucy Sosnowy, James Scarafone and Albert Scarafone; and her son-in-law Ronald White.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. John J. Zaro, Jr. (Joni) and Linda White (late Ronald); her sister Margaret Carlino; and her grandchildren, Marlena Zaro (Xavier), Christa Zaro (Steve Gorman), Heather Maertzig (Matt), Andrew White (Jillian), Kaitlyn White (Brittney), John Zaro (Natalie), Michael Jenkins (Jennifer) and Bob Jenkins (Krista). She is also survived by Thirteen great grandchildren; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Saviour Church in memory of Yolanda.
