He is survived by: his wife Betty Dukes (Berkins); his son William; his grandchildren, Michael, Adrianna and Brian; his great grandchildren, A'khi, Amani and Nori; his goddaughter Donna Yates; his sister Louise Shackelford of Quincy Florida; his sisters-in-law, Louise Berkins, Carleathea Berkins and Noami Berkins; his daughter-in-law Kim Dukes; and his siblings, Herbert Dukes (Myrtle), Ulysses Charles Jim Dukes (Josephine), David Dukes (Mary Ann), Edward Dukes, Sellany Allen (David), Livert Eda Mae (Walter), Doris Dukes and Leola D. Smith (Johnny).
