He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Newell Sr. and Helen (Winterbottom). He is survived by: his children, Ellen Galczyk (John) and William F. Newell III; his granddaughter Madison; and his siblings, Daniel (Andrea), Peter (Kathy), Martin and Maureen. He is also survived by six nieces and three nephews.
