He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richards and Elizabeth Richards (Hanlon); and his sister Elizabeth. He is survived by: his children, Pamela J. Bowman (Gary), William J. Richards Jr. (Dolores), Michael P. Richards (Alice) and Kathleen A. Richards (Michael Romanosky).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jeffersonville Presbyterian Church in Bill's name.
