She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Wright and Catherine Ann Battaglia; her son William Beverly Golden, Jr.; and her brothers, James Wright and Charles Battalio.
She is survived by: her former husband William Beverly Golden; her children, Wayne Cornell Golden (Grace) and Renee Marie Golden; her husband Robert Darden; her siblings, Gladys Lee, Martha J. Wright, Florence Walker, Betty Webb, Robert E. Wright (Sheilah), Billy White (Minnie) and Edward Battalio (Doris); her grandchildren, Meiko Golden-Scott, William B. Golden III, Lisa Golden, Monique Golden, Simone Golden, Gabrielle Golden and Amanda Golden; her great grandchildren, Kevin Scott, Jaylen Scott, Sunny June Golden, Jada Peoples, Kaiden Brooks and True Golden-Brown; her great great grandchild Harlem Chatman-Scott; and her daughter-in-law Grace. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
